


I began my teaching career in Canada, supporting students through the OSSD English curriculum at both secondary and post-secondary levels. With over 10 years of academic and tutoring experience, I specialise in essay writing, research projects, and academic communication. My background includes working with students at the University of Manitoba and King’s College London, helping them refine their analytical writing and develop confidence in academic expression.


My passion for teaching English began with a love for language and storytelling, which I now bring into every lesson I teach. Over the years, I’ve helped BC students improve their writing clarity, reading comprehension, and analytical thinking through structured yet creative methods. By combining literature discussions with practical exercises, I aim to make English both engaging and meaningful for every learner.


I began my teaching journey supporting IB students in English Literature and Language, helping them refine analytical writing and critical reading skills. With over 6 years of teaching and academic experience, I’ve guided students through essay structuring, text analysis, and research-based writing. My background in Public Health and research publishing enhances my approach to evidence-based interpretation and academic clarity in IB English.


For me, teaching English is about more than grammar and essays — it’s about helping students find their voice. Over the past 9 years, I’ve guided Alberta students in developing clear communication, literary interpretation, and persuasive writing skills. My lessons combine structured learning with creativity, encouraging confidence in both academic and real-world English use.


As a BC English tutor, I focus on helping students strengthen their comprehension, essay writing, and communication skills in line with the provincial curriculum. Having recently graduated at the top of my class, I understand the challenges students face and bring a relatable, structured approach to learning.
